Mr. Sandner has been a member of the Board since 2012 and currently serves as a member of the Audit Committee. During the 1980’s and 1990’s, Mr. Sandner served as the Chairman of the Board of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the longest serving elected exchange Chairman in the history of the futures industry and has continuously served on this Board since 1977.
Recognized as an industry leader, Mr. Sandner has testified frequently before Congress over the years and has received numerous awards including the Points of Light award from President George H. W. Bush, the Horatio Alger Award, among many others. Mr. Sandner is Chairman of the Cancer Institute at Rush University Medical Center and serves on the Boards of the University of Notre Dame, Rush University Medical Center, Museum of Science and Industry, Shedd Aquarium, the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago, the National Futures Association, and Virtu Financial LLC.
