Mr. Rogers joined the Board in 2014. Mr. Rogers is Chairman, CEO, Chief Investment Officer, and founder of Ariel Investments. Throughout his career, Mr. Rogers has been recognized for his investment expertise including being selected as an All-Star Mutual Fund Manager by USA TODAY and highlighted in the distinguished book, The World’s 99 Greatest Investors by Magnus Angenfelt, among other honors.

Mr. Rogers serves on the boards of Exelon and McDonald’s, and is a trustee to the University of Chicago. Mr. Rogers is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and a director of the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights.

In 2008, Mr. Rogers was awarded Princeton University’s highest honor, the Woodrow Wilson Award, presented each year to the alumni whose career embodies a commitment to national service. Following the election of President Barack Obama, Mr. Rogers served as co-chair for the Presidential Inaugural Committee 2009. He also twice chaired the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Capability.
