Thomas Harrild is Managing Director of RSG Denmark, a member company of RSG Underwriting Managers and an integral part of RSG’s strategic focus to further expand in Europe. RSG Denmark is based in Copenhagen and delivers management and professional liability products to clients on behalf of Navigators Lloyd’s of London Syndicate #1221. Thomas joined RSG Denmark in January 2017 and will continue to focus on professional lines.
Thomas brings over 20 years of experience in property and casualty underwriting. Prior to joining RSG Denmark, Thomas was Managing Director for Navigators A/S in Copenhagen for seven years.
Thomas spent ten years with Hansen & Klein A/S, a branch of and underwriting agent for CNA. Thomas served as manager for CNA’s Scandinavian operation, which included the Copenhagen and Stockholm branches, focusing on professional liability, D&O and crime. As a partner of Hansen & Klein A/S, Thomas developed CNA to be one of the leading players within financial lines in Denmark, also establishing a presence in Sweden and Norway. Thomas began his career at Hansen & Klein A/S as the Financial Lines Manager.
Thomas graduated from Copenhagen Business School in 1996 while working as an insurance agent in life and pension, property and casualty, and financial lines at Danica Pension, a leading insurance company in Denmark.
Thomas began his insurance career in 1987 as a trainee at the largest life and pension company in Denmark, Statsanstalten.Back to List Next Bio
